Mechanized harvesting in taking the first steps in China
AFM-Forest has delivered the first harvesting head to Chinese customer. AFM 45L installed on Komatsu PC160-7 base machine started on January operations in Shandong Province. There is less that 10 forest machines running in China and most of them are owned by foreign companies. AFM 45L harvester is cutting wood for local plywood manufacturing and Stora Enso pulp mill.
